Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow the assembly instructions soldering and connecting the components according to the specifications.
  • Ensure that the products have the correct firmware version, flash new firmware.
  • Follow the commissioning requirements to design the networks and to commission the devices accordingly.
  • Perform quality checks on each step to ensure proper electronic functionalities as well as the correct firmware package and version.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure that the commissioned products comply with customer’s requirements.The goal is to get the products finished, tested, cleaned, bagged, labeled and ready for shipment.

Required Experience and Qualifications: 

  • Possess a Technical degree in Electronics Engineering, Electronics Design, or equivalent experience that would meet the minimum performance requirements for this position.
  • 3 years minimum experience in working with electronics: PLC, PCB, Firmware, Hardware (in lab, school or workshop environment is ok).
  • Able to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts and engineering drawings.
  • Able to use hand tools including but not limited to calipers, strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, drills. Soldering certification preferred, but must be experienced.
  • Willing and able to do research and to continuously learn and improve technical knowledge
  • Must be comfortable working at heights to perform maintenance and repair work on hardware using ladders, scaffolding or other equipment to access elevated work areas following all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required.
  • Ability to work autonomously


Drug Free Workplace:

We are a Florida Drug Free Workplace. The company requires all employees to complete a pre-employment 10 panel drug screen; employment status will be dependent on ability to pass this screening and partake on a quarterly random screen.

Hours, compensation and benefits:

Full-time, on-site hours 8am to 5pm, Rate starts at $25 per hour and is negotiable based on certifications, skillset and experience.

After 30-day waiting period employees become eligible for Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, paid holidays and paid time off that increase with longevity. After an initial 90-Day waiting period, employees may participate in the company-sponsored 401(k).
