We ventured into the Lighting and Smart Building space after experiencing first-hand the difficulties and complexities of proprietary and enclosed control systems that up to then were the norm in such industries.


The Position:
We are seeking a seasoned OEM Sales Manager who will develop relationships with OEM partners all over the USA. OEM Sales are all sales of our hardware and software that are going through the channel of OEMs (Manufacturers of drivers, switches, luminaries, controls and any kind of device/product that can be integrated with our technology).

You must be relentless and willing to constantly reach out to OEMs and direct the sales activities of Representatives, Distributors and any channel that can be identified.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Get up to speed with our products, internal policies and procedures to provide accurate information in a timely manner.
  • Lead sales efforts across the entire USA. Define, propose and execute the sales strategy to achieve OEM partner development.
  • Actively engaged in day-to-day sales activities, directly interacting with clients and closing deals. First and foremost, be customer-service oriented and responsive to clients.
  • Maintain an understanding of the market, the competition and our products to properly convey to our customers; Keep abreast of product releases to properly inform our customers and help them make the correct choice for their projects.

Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • Must have prior experience with OEM business development in the field of controls or smart building and automation.
  • A successful Sales Manager is ambitious, organized, can prioritize, pushes to meet and exceed all sales goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing personal and divisional targets as well as exploring opportunities to add value.
  • Strong presentation skills, analytical thinker that understands the challenges to build and develop a channel market and is confident is developing OEM partnerships.
  • Proficient with computers and software applications such as Microsoft Excel, PDF, Power Point and familiar working with databases, e-mail and internet searches. 
  • Must possess professional business verbal and written communication skills.

Drug Free Workplace:
We are a Florida Drug Free Workplace. The company requires all employees to complete a pre-employment 10 panel drug screen; employment status will be dependent on ability to pass this screening and partake on a quarterly random screen.

Hours, Compensation and Benefits:
This is a full-time, salaried position expected to complete and meet expected deliverables and deadlines. Domestic U.S. Travel is required.

Compensation for this position is negotiable and will be composed of a base salary plus monthly sales commissions and annual target bonuses.

After 30-day waiting period employees become eligible for Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, paid holidays and paid time off that increase with longevity.
